BJ's Closet On 5 is one of the most beautiful stores I've seen. BJ herself is so lovely and delightful that visiting her store is a treat for the eyes and the soul. Located at 591 Summit Avenue in Jersey City near Newark Avenue, the beautiful treasure trove appeared one day a little over two months ago, taking the place seemingly overnight of a storefront that utilized half of the space. BJ cleared out and gutted, and brought to life the whole block and beyond with the gorgeous taste she has for vintage design, home goods, and clothing. The place simply sparkles, inside and out, and even when I'm in a hurry I long to go in and browse. Her windows change regularly, sometimes showcasing her pocket squares that were sold as an exclusive collection at Saks Fifth Avenue and Kleinfeld Bridal Shop on 6th Avenue and 21st Street in New York City. Paradise For The Palate

A gorgeous destination, especially at night, is Tropicana Restaurant at 159 New York Avenue in Jersey City. Located on the corner of Franklin Street, its warm inviting light is a beacon to brighten the darkness. I get hungry just walking by, and seeing all of the delicious treats available makes me want to try everything all at once. Their deserts are sublime, flan from Cecilia Bakery in West New York and the most wonderful home made bread pudding I've ever tasted are my new favorites anywhere. They offer free delivery, but it's such a pleasure to go there, why not stop by?
